Tea Amidst The Leaves // The Hempel

One of our favourite haunts and a stylish stalwart on the London hotel scene, The Hempel has announced a silly-not-to deal on its Champagne afternoon tea served in their beautiful gardens. Nestled between the fashionable enclaves of Notting Hill and Bayswater, the Zen garden provides a tranquil oasis in the heart of Central London that many don’t realise is even there.
For just £17.50 per person, you can sip a perfectly chilled glass of Tattinger, whilst spoiling yourself with homemade scones and cakes with clotted cream and preserves, plus the obligatory finger sandwiches to satisfy those with less of a sweet tooth.  The Hempel is taking afternoon tea away from the grip of chintzy hotels and placing it firmly in its own minimalist care. It’s all very civilised, and for that we love it.

Afternoon tea is available from 2pm to 6pm, Monday to Sunday. Reservations are essential: 0208 298 9000
