The combination of dressing up in our finest country garb with bike-riding and a proper knees-up in Shoreditch is a winning one for us. The Tweed Run, now an annual fixture in the London hipster calendar, takes place this year on Saturday 9 April. With limited places available, registration for the event takes place on Saturday 26 February – bear in mind that all places were snapped up in just 45 minutes last year. Dig out your flat caps, cycling capes and plus-fours for a jolly stylish ride through the streets of the metropolis. Prizes will be given for those most handsomely dressed, and for the best cycle. There’s also a prize for the best moustache, so there’s still time to start your facial cultivation! The 10-mile jaunt will take in the city’s most famous landmarks, stopping for a spot of tea en route, with the whole shebang winding its way to the fashionable streets of Shoreditch.
